All of her kids surprised (she says shocked!) Betty in celebration of her 75th birthday. It started off with a dinner with all four kids and assorted mates showing up as a complete surprise.
In late February 1997, Betty jetted out to California to excape the wintery blasts in Ohio and enjoy the Sunshine at Villa di Tosca e Sam. Betty helped with the Gallerie Hare opening, enjoyed meeting Muriel and helped Judy at the Museum. And she really enjoyed the weather, which cooperated with 9 out of 10 days of warm sunshine. We didn't let her cook too much, so Bob and Judy were able to maintain their caloric intake.
